Hi there, thanks for stopping by. This is the personal website of Alejandro A. Leal, the journalist, blogger, web nerd, White Sox fan, media entrepreneur (just you wait and see!) based in Atlanta, Ga. If you know me, then you’ll infer some of the things that I put here as related to people I know, work with, fight with, live with, love. Please understand some of those things are personal, so just take it in, and breathe.
If you are a prospective employer (or my boss!) please be ethical and remember this is me exercising my freedom of speech. Although I won’t be salacious or daring, I expect you to maintain a level of professionalism and have perspective on any personal opinions on this blog if you plan on using them a source of judgment on my abilities as an employee. As a person, I’m quite the cool dude. But I wouldn’t want to learn that I didn’t get the job because you didn’t get my “El Cínico” jokes.
There’s absolutely no structure to this site, but you will find a formal Online resume (as well as a PDF version) and a list of reporting and photography links I’ll try to maintain as current as possible.

Leal, el blogger, periodista, loco de medios, hincha del glorioso Independiente Santa Fe, y amante de la buena música y de la buena comida, que reside en Atlanta, Ga, EEUU. Si me conoces, deducirás que algunas de las cosas que publico en este espacio se relacionan con la gente que me rodea; algunas cosas son algo personales, por ende te pido que las asumas como cualquier otra cosa que encuentras escrita por ahi y la dejes ser lo que es. Ahora un poco más formal: Si usted se encuentra estudiando mi solicitud de empleo, le recuerdo amablemente que este espacio es nada más una bitácora personal, donde me expreso libremente como me lo permite la ley en casi todos los países industrializados o en desarrollo. Le ruego mantenga la perspectiva, y se comporte con ética al evaluar lo que encuentra acá como fuente de criterios de evaluación en cuanto a mis habilidades como (posible) empleado suyo. Sería una lástima enterarme que no me contrató porque es hincha de Millonarios ( o cualquier otra razón trivial)
